The challenge
João works in many languages at once: stage, film, writing, painting and his doctorate. He needed a website that presented him as a whole without his work getting lost between sections.
The solution
A sober, almost gallery-like website where the image takes the lead. In 2026 we redesigned it completely: a full-screen black-and-white homepage, editorial typography, a project archive with filters and a 3D virtual gallery.
The design lets the work breathe and the typography accompanies it without competing.
01 · Sketch
We organised his career into sections anyone can understand at first glance, from the biography to the blog.
02 · Stroke
We designed a black-and-white aesthetic, with full-bleed photography and red accents, and built it in WordPress and Elementor. Each section has its own personality within the same visual language.
